I'M NOT SAYING IT WAS ALIENS... but it wasslightlyjillianOctober 1 2020, 01:30:00 UTC
Ok, so we had three people approach the Judge. And, as far as I'm concerned, we had the REAL PERSON who took the test and handed everyone the cheat sheet.
1) Bill - started & died (in Dune voice, "They tried, and failed? No. They tried and died."), it's never quite said, but I don't think he cared 'for all mankind' as much as he wanted to see his daughter's face. Which kind of makes for a whole unraveled sweater of hypocrisy.
2) Clarke - flunked. Fair enough. The game is rigged.
3) Raven - would like a retest. And even alien Abby can't resist her, but Raven doesn't take the test.
#4 - Octavia scores the victory.
I was so freaking proud of her. Octavia was amazing, is amazing, and she is MVP. Loved the wholesome callback to her original Wonkru concept. I also appreciated how her ongoing love for Bellamy convinced her to NOT GIVE UP on keeping Levitt and Echo alive.
It gave our three leading ladies a really lovely opportunity to be themselves and be participants in the final
As the episode just dumped us into the opening credit, I did have a moment where I had mad respect for the THREE WOMEN leading the roll call (until RH of course).

And, again, just so happy with how it all went down.
