Re: Let's Start at the EndslightlyjillianSeptember 10 2020, 05:26:56 UTC
I dunno. Like, I'm more bewildered about that tweet or facebook post than I am what happened in the episode.
If that's all Bob was willing to do this season, ok I guess? But I hadn't really figured that was the end of the line 100% completely??? I was more upset about Doucette to be honest.
RH hasn't tweeted anything. So I'm just going to go into my Murphy-fan corner. I'll just show up next week for episode 14 and in the meantime watch RH's retweet of JR & Adina dancing.
Re: Let's Start at the EndslightlyjillianSeptember 10 2020, 14:38:02 UTC
I think I reasoned it out:
The reason why they needed the flame was to get information from (Becca?) to finish the code so Bill could start his test.
When Gabriel was tempted--it was to get the information for the test (war) for himself--but he denied Josephine and destroyed the flaime.
Madi revealed to Clarke (the audience already knew) that she retained memories of past lives even without the Flame. So Bill might be able to get the information he wants from Madi. OR her sketchbook.
I realized this morning that Clarke wanted to keep the book AWAY from Bill, so it kind of makes sense she didn't pick it up. She just needed to make sure Bellamy couldn't interpret it for Bill.
Honestly, I was shipping him with Bellamy. That felt like something real. And Bellamy DID react to that, big time.
I was kind of surprised that Doucette died so quickly. I thought a medical person might have had a chance to save him, but with all that was going on, I suppose not.
I did kind of cringe when Bill was playing favorites with Bellamy because Doucette was "born into the faith." Ew ew ew.
Power of Friendship: Raven SquadslightlyjillianSeptember 10 2020, 01:17:31 UTC
It was lovely to see the wrap up to the Raven story. While her friends didn't blame her, and I didn't really either, it was cathartic for Raven to deal with her decisions and to see that her FAM rushed to check on her.
I almost got mad at the commercial break because I wanted another 60-1,000,000 seconds of that little bonding moment with Memori & Princess Mechanic.
Ok, time for some real plot speculationslightlyjillianSeptember 10 2020, 01:26:29 UTC
THANK GOD FOR GABRIEL.
Gabriel is saving the plot this season. With the help of his red sun gf (welcome back, Josephine!), Gabriel reveals that he can science the Flame and get Becca's brains.
But the Flame has to go into someone with the Natblida. And that person fights the war, excuse me: TAKES THE TEST
So he sets up the computer. Blows it to bits and says good bye to Josephine.
I would like the fanfic where they draw straws to see which of the multiple Natblida in our group volunteered to take the test.
Or is this thread really over?
The Test is real, I think.
I think someone has to take the Test. And, maybe, it has to be someone with Natblida.
but now that the Flame is gone. The only memories are in Madi, or her drawings, yeah? So I suppose anyone can take the Test again.
Ok. Guesses on what the Test is and who takes it?
Frankly, it's Clarke's show. I'd like to have something full circle with her story.

But this time was so different.
I actually waved my hand at the screen and said, "Eh, just shoot him, Clarke."
how far we've come...

I suppose he's actually dead? I mean, getting shot at the end of the episode didn't feel exactly confirmed dead.
then this:

I'm confused, but the kind of confused where I didn't think it was quite this...???

Murphy: All our friends are missing and Bellamy’s a sheep. So did you.
I love them so much.

Who do you think should take the Test?
