I am giddy with excitement that Murphy has a place with The 100 if he wants it.

He really was a quiet star of the show. And yet still said all the things that really needed saying.

Murphy was amazing. And seeing him comfort Emori, seeing him extend grace to her--that's character growth. Wow.

I was SO WORRIED when Emori was, of course, in the bunch that Alie 1.0 sent up the wall.

But I kept telling myself, that just gets her closer to John if she's unchipped. Closer to John. CLOSER TO JOHN. aaaaaA!

Close enough for hugs.

Yay!

It's not ideal, but maybe this is the best mid-season landing place for Murphy.

Clarke so could have chipped herself. She stuck it in the SIDE of Emerson's neck and it traveled to the right place. But she wanted Murphy to do it. And Murphy ignoring Abby when Abby started freaking out to take the chip back out? Loved it. His squeamishness at pumping Ontari's heart? Brilliant.

Him getting to hug and comfort Emori? Swoon.

He was a gem tonight. An absolute gem.

Funny side note: after I watched, my mom (who is waay behind) said, "Just tell me one thing: did Murphy survive the finale?"

And, A) it was awesome because she didn't ask about anyone else. Murphy was her concern. <3 B) I got to say "yes," and he was pretty awesome. :)
