sooo.... new job. Too bad it is only mine for a few months, then it goes back to its owner.
I'm working at a tutoring centre, mainly doing a little marking, and a lot of data entry/setting up homework for the kids. It is fun, and very busy (which is really good). I think I may have sat without anything to do for all of about 20 minutes in my first shift. That was considered a "slow night".
The pay is good, but there aren't a lot of hours, so I may not make my fortune, but it gets me out of the house, and really that is all I can ask.
I think this is my last summer selling jewelry, I can't handle the criticism that I get from my family anymore. The customers are great, but when I get told that my prices are too high, and that I should only consider recouping my materials cost, (from a family member) my feelers get hurt, and I lose interest. I like getting paid for my labour, but apparently I'm not worth it.
