I did it again...
I've gone too long without an update. >.=.> I need to update more, so I don't end up doing really long posts.
Weekends
Feb 1-3:
I went home that weekend and Brett went with me. I had told him about a cave behind my house and he was interested in exploring it. It took me longer to find it than I thought. I'd been a while since I had been to it. We went inside, and went down the largest path inside. Well, we had to crawl some, but it was still the largest. We found lots of trash from where idiots had left it. There was some interesting cave life, we even found a bat, so Brett was happy. :P We hit a dead end, so we went back and started down another path. That we when we found the cave's current resident. It was a bobcat.....Luckly, it was asleep, but we decided it would be a good idea to leave.
Feb 8-10:
Nothing much happen that weekend. After gaming on Friday, Brett, Deagle, and me went to Michelle's house. We drank a little beer, but no one got drunk or anything. Around noon on Saturday, Brett ran a d20 modern horror game for some people and I decided to play too. I spent Saturday evening and most of Sunday hanging around the room, watching Bleach and not doing much. Brett went home and everyone else was busy, so I was bored. -.=.-
Feb 15-17:
Gaming was Friday, as usual. Afterward, though, I met up with my dad who was in Louisville for the Farm Machinery Show. My brother and a friend of his was with him. I invited Brett to go eat with us, too. My brother's friend mentioned eating at Hooters, and since we couldn't think of anything else, we went there. I just happened to know where one was. :P
A bunch of stuff happened on Saturday. Brett's horror game when from noon til around 4pm. It was pretty good, with lots of messed up stuff that made your character make WTF checks (insanity checks). Around 4, I found out that Michelle didn't have a ride into Louisville for Darktiger's party. Deagle was working and her parents couldn't/wouldn't drive her to campus. So, I said Brett and me would pick her up. I didn't mind doing this at all. I just wish she had let us know earlier that she didn't have ride, that way we could have planed better. :s
So, we got to Darktiger's party around 6:45 or so. Quite a few people where there: Darktiger, Onyx, Alpha, Knight Fox, Jouster, Zenny, Der Pudel, Draco, Tote Baggs and Kitty. If I missed anybody, sorry. The night was filled with lots of random stuff; what else would you expect at a party full of furries? XD
-A game of Apples to Apples, where Brett and me actually managed to beat Michelle. :P
-Alpha chased Jouster around with a plate of heart shaped jello. Poor Jouster, he'll never live that joke down. XD
-Tote drank some and was stumbling around a bit.
-Alpha and Dark endulged their pyromantic tendencies by setting marshmallows on fire.
-Someone loudly said soming about "Fucking a door off its hinges." >.=.>
-I hooked up Guitar Hero III and several of us played, but everyone else mostly just watched.
-Jouster and Zenny played baseball on the Wii, but they were having a rough time scoring any points.
After the party, Brett and me went back to Michelle house where Deagle met us when he got off work. We cooked potstickers (well, I cooked them, everyone else ate them) and Brett and me finished off the beer that was left over from the last weekend. I tried playing Starcraft with Brett and Deagle, but I just don't have any luck with that game.
Brett and me got up around 11 on Sunday so he could get back to the dorm around noon. His parents picked him up, then I went back to sleep for a few hours. I spent the rest of the day doing nothing.
Of course, I had classed during the week, but nothing really special happened. And I doubt anyone here is interested in reading how I made 2,5-tert-butyl-1,4-dimethoxybenzene in lab. If someone actually is, tell me and I'll post the lab report. XD
Umm, I can't think of anything else right now. I'll post more if I think of something.
