One of the first things we heard when we sat down: (the girl was talking about her friend) "...And she's like 'Should I do this? Or should I go home and have sex?' And I'm like but you don't even have a boyfriend how can you have sex? And she was like 'It doesn't matter I can still go home and have sex.'"
Then a little later "... (talking about herself)I don't really have any guy friends because I have a boyfriend but I do have this one guy friend, that my boyfriend's okay with because he's not really a threat you know? He might be gay but I dunno he's like 6 foot somethiing and 130 pounds."
and then "__But you're smart! What are you doing going to 13th grade!"
Yeah....
Blaaaaaaah I haven't been blogging or keeping up with people. It's bad. I need to be better aout blogging and stuff but either I don't have time or I can't think of anything to say.
Oh well...... I started reading Battle Royale (the novel). I'm almost finished with it. I like it a lot more than the movie and the manga (well...the manga is a lot more graphic and the character designs are too Fist of the North Starish for me).
I started reading The Golden Compass, I hope to finish it before the movie comes out. I am sort of confused because parts of the setting really seem medieval..and just when I get comfortable envisioning things they throw in trucks and vans and projectors...
The weather is starting to get colder here...yaaaay~~ I love fall/winter clothes.
A while ago Dobie Dorm had it's festival thingy. Hurrah for free food! (If only I hadn't made ramen right before Tim called me......but I think free nachos > instant ramen any time.)
They had hot dogs etc, dunking tank, face painting, one of those inflatable bungee race things, and a bouncy thing. Dizzy zomfg loooves teh bouncy thing.
Yeah...as we were coming back to the dorm we ran into Yuuto and so we went back to the festival again just to hang out.
Fun times.
This weekend I didn't really do much. I went swimming Saturday morning...I wish I were more of a morning person because the gym and the pools are really nice when hardly anyone is there. The water took some getting used to...it's not cold yet but it's getting there.
Later I stayed up waay too late with Paula and Tim getting food and renting movies after Closet Artists. We saw Hostel 2. Bleeeh. We all went to bed around 6ish. Ugh.
Today I met with my Business Japanese group to work on our group project. I was okay after a Red Bull..but I'm pretty tired now.
Until next time.
