Bloodstained Ground - Eluveitie
There was blood everywhere on the ground. Gore, intestines, pieces of flesh, and limbs were strewn all over the floor. Truly the scene looked like something out of a hideous, photo collage death and gore metal album. But, who could be the performer of such an atrocious act? The Butcher stood amongst his bloodied works of creation with no remorse for his deeds.
A nurse twitched, and he stomped on her face. Blood, brains, a fragments of skull flew out in a very short radius and settled. He smiled,
Travis smiled.
The Aftermath - Origins
Dance
Twisting, twisting, twisting, and the occasional twitch here and there. The attendant of God looked like one of those poor people doomed forever in a state of epileptic seizures. An epileptic child forever forced to turn valves, because it was his duty. When he did the world spasmed, hiccuped, and twitched like him before it turned into something horribly grotesque.
Horrible grotesque depending on who you were. Sometimes people liked the spasmed changes that came about. Valtiel wasn't allowed to care though. No, he had to continue this dance. This seizurel dance with him and the valves. Valtiel taking the lead, and the valves forced into his pattern.
The world forced into this spontaneous rhythm pattern of deceit. Would it ever stop? Maybe sometimes Valtiel would watch Heather and the dance would end for a few moments, but he always resumed.
Oh, he was made to dance, dance, and dance he did. He danced.
Waking Up Blind - Evergrey
Today was the day that Heather would finally get to bury her father and give him a proper funeral. During the preparations she thought briefly of all the things that had transpired during that one day. They didn't need to be repeated. All of that was in the past, and Heather decided that she would need to live in the present. Still there was one thing she couldn't let go of, and those were her memories of Claudia. Specifically her memories of Claudia when she was Alessa.
She found it strangely ironic that the two had been raised in the same faith, and beliefs, but where Claudia blindly followed the beliefs of the Order; Alessa was able to see past it's hypocrisy and vowed to destroy it. How lucky for Alessa, then, that Heather was able to deliver a killing blow to this facet of the Order.
Acid Horse - Akira Yamaoka
Isn't always strange, those times when you decide to inject the PTV in your veins? Everything takes on a rosy hue, and the shitty world we live in starts to look like Paradise. Don't think the cult doesn't know this. They know it all too well, and they offer these injections of Paradise to the tourists, and members of the town.
Have a handy supply in hand, because when the Paradise injection wears off, you're left plummeting into Hell, and there you lay while hordes march across you.
Six Curses from a Spiritual Wasteland - Destroyer 666
Whoever had said Paradise was glorious, obviously didn't know anything. Everything was barren, tinged in strange blue and gray colors, and it was dull. Oh so terribly dull. She just sat there looking at everything, and lamenting. There was nothing to do.
Fuck, she was bored.
She spotted a match, a piece of wood, and an oiled clothed. With a smile she wrapped the cloth around the wood, tied it, and then she lit it on fire. The flame grew, and she ran around Paradise burning everything in her path.
Burning everything in this Hellish Paradise. She spared noone. Human souls, angels, and gods were burned, humble little homes were set ablaze. By the time she was through all of Paradise was in flames, and the girl just stood their laughing at what she had done.
Alessa always did this every week though. But this time she would continue to burn everything, until heaven...Paradise was nothing more than a wasteland.
Forever Autumn - Lake of Tears
"I love the leaves when they change," Mary told James.
The two were in the park watching the color of the leaves change. They changed such wonderful colors too. Green into yellow, red, and brown, and orange. Under just the right lighting you would swear that something was on fire.
"I always love this time of year," Mary breathed, resting her head against James shoulder.
James smiled, and added, "If I could make it autumn for you everyday, I would, Mary,"
"Silly, you don't have to do that!" Mary giggled. She turned her head to smile at James.
James smiled back, and gave Mary a deep kiss. The two pulled away slightly after a minute. "You're beautiful, Mary," James told his wife, "You're more beautiful than these trees here, more beautiful than this town, and more beautiful than the lake,"
"Oh, you're just saying that,"
"I'm not. I'll love you no matter what. In sickness and in health," James told her.
"In sickness and in health?" Mary asked.
"I promise, in sickness and in health I will love you, I will love you no matter what," James assured his wife, as he held her in that moment.
When it Hits Home - Entombed
"I hate you! You and your devil son!!"
Those words rang through Richard's mind as he clutched the broken jeweled heart in his hand. He threw the thing against the wall. He looked up at the ceiling in room 500. There was a rope their. This would be the escape that he would need. He climbed a chair, put the noose over his neck, and then jumped. He twitched once, twice, and then he was dead.
He wouldn't see Travis come into the room, and hold a conversation with him.
Walking With Gods - Killing Joke
The children ran up to the woman in the red dress. "Holy Mother! Holy Mother!" they shouted out with happiness.
"What is it, my children?" the God asked the little children who had flocked to her.
"Paradise is glorious! Paradise is glorious!" one shouted with glee.
The God smiled, as she picked up one of the children and held him in her lap. The other children looked at her pleadingly, "We want to be held too, Holy Mother," they said in unison.
"Let us take a walk, children," she said.
She stood up, setting the child on it's feet. That child clutched her right hand, and another one clutched her left hand. The other children grabbed a piece of her dress, and walked beside her. Also walking beside around her were more entities. To her right was a man wearing executioner looking garb, and next to him was a man with a pyramid for a head. To the God's left was a young woman with dark hair. She was wearing a pale yellow dress which didn't at all match her mood at all.
"Holy Mother who are these other people?" one the children asked during the walk.
"These are just a few of my servants, and just a few of the gods, Child," she said in a sweet tone.
"Holy Mother, why does that one look so angry?" the little boy pointed at the dark haired girl.
The Holy Mother looked at the Holy Mother, and asked, "You've always been so upset about this, haven't you?"
The other one continued to glare, and said nothing.
"I have let her have something glorious," the God told her children.
Alessa just glared, and muttered, "I didn't ask to become a god, or to walk with gods,"
The Brother Slayer - Amorphis
In the desolate streets of Silent Hill the only company that welcomed him were the creatures who called this place home. The war veteran didn't hesitate to deal with these hideous creatures. He continued on his journey. Soon he spotted his younger brother.
The lesser one said nothing. Alex raced toward him, but Joshua turned and ran off.
"Damn it, Joshua! Come back!" Alex shouted.
He was getting sick of this. And he was starting to wonder if this were nothing more than a trap. Why was Joshua always running away from him? Why was he being so cruel?
Alex never remembered Joshua being like this.
Tenebrarum Oratorium (Andamento I/Erudit Compendyum) - Moonspell
She stared at the ceiling counting the cracks, and imagining these cracks as images, and she fell asleep.
Her dreams were always a similar theme. She would see God, and her godly servants surrounding her, and Alessa just glowered at them. She would spit at them, and do other things, and in return they would beat her. It was such a wonderful feeling (sarcasm). At one point the goat God burned Alessa in her dreams.
She glared at them. She hated them. Every hour she swore that she would kill them all, destroy Silent Hill, and destroy herself. They laughed and mocked her. How would she ever kill an immortal being? Alessa just smiled, and told them it was a secret.
They beat her again.
Alessa sometimes woke up to see Lisa checking her stats. Alessa would smile through the layers of pain, and sometimes she would reach of the young nurse's hand. Lisa was shocked when she first did this, but soon grew to accept this. She even welcomed this touch.
Lisa would smile down at Alessa, and Alessa would smile at her.
'Lisa, I'm going to do something soon. Something wonderful, and something destructive.'
'And I'll be using you'.
