Using motion capture technology, Mr. Serkis helped bring Smeagol/Gollum to life in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and had two roles in Peter Jackson's King Kong, one as the famous ape and the other as Lumpy the cook, who has one of the grisliest (is that even a word?) deaths in a movie ever. Was also in Deathwatch, has done a guest spot on The Simpsons and will be doing motion-capture for the upcoming Tekken movie.
