Uni-wise I got what I wanted: Arts (Advanced) at University of Sydney. What's different about advanced arts you say? A good question actually. I'm glad you asked. I -think- it's just accelerated and has more advanced subjects later on. It also has a much higher UAI cutoff. Normal arts at USyd was 83.00 whereas artsadv was 98.02. Which means that mine OP2 was at the higher end of the OP2s and was worth at least 98.02 in the UAI system. Or they took pity on me because I'm from Queensland.
I'm living in a college on campus (Sancta Sophia) so that should be fun. Or hell. Either or.
I have an 'arty starty' day on Feb 27th so I'm leaving Townsville on Feb 25th. Which means I would have lived my first 18 years take one day in Townsville as I turn 18 on Feb 26th.
I'm yet to be sad about going. There are a few people I'm going to -really- miss and some not so much.
Also: I have Austen icons! I just had to point out the love!
