song from wormstaches' Destiel fic Waves
Ok, so I just finished reading wormstaches' Destiel fic Waves in which Cas is a hipster and sometimes musician. The fic made me frustrated and miserable (in a good way, it was supposed to!) so as musicians are wont to do, I took my misery out on my guitar and wrote a song based based on the lyrics 'Cas' wrote in chapter 5...
Unfortunately, I grew up in the grunge era and didn't know most of the "hipster music shit" on wormstaches' fanmix for the fic, but I've been a fan of Ani Difranco since before the term 'hipster' became popular again, so I took that and ran with it. Though I think a lot of the Indigo Girls ended up in the final product as well O.o
