You always save the best for last. ♥♥♥

Of course, how else could a demon have a past history with Naomi. All hail to the king of the crossroad demons, Crowley. Oh, and he was an angel named Cariel in his past life. Yep, this is definitely the biggest shocker so far. #gasp But this actually explain, a lot.

So, what was that about Barachiel being coy and innocent. Thants God he didn't fall either or Heaven wouldn't have had a chance.

Alistair doesn't step out of he'll yet, probably because he was enjoying torturing the damned. Oh yeah, he is practically the second Naomi. :P

So Cariel finally made up his mind about leaving? Hmm, that's good, judging that he is not the first since Raphael has taken leadership of Heaven.

And does Raphael purposely try to drive Cariel to this point? Man, he's a jerk.

Well, the first sequel ends with a big shock. Yay! May the next one be just as good as this one.

Daniel.

Of course I do. :D

Buahaha! Yes, Cariel is what Crowley used to be! It's really getting obvious now, but the first few chapters of the next sequel should clinch it for anybody late to the game, and just in case, there will be a full reveal in chapter 18.5...

Now that you know Cariel is going to become Crowley, you should go back and reread and see if you can't spot little Crowley-isms that I tried to work into his character. He's not the cynical and snarky demon we love, not yet, but he started off clever and manipulative from day one!

Naomi is the second Alistair, some would say! They learned their craft together, and while Naomi's nicer about it, they both do torture.

You could argue that Raphael was trying to reunite Cariel and Gabriel by driving Cariel out of Heaven, and therefore being a nice guy, in his own twisted way!

I hope you liked this sequel! It almost didn't happen, but my pre-reader, Amanthas, was very persistent!
