I take back the 'friendly rivalry' thing. It's sound like the future for the two isn't so bright...

Oh, so it was Gabriel who contributed into Megatron's antagonistic actions? This guy is so... I don't know how to describe him anymore.

First, he left Sammael in the dark, which triggered him into putting his plan for war in motion. And now, this. He means well, but things just don't end well around him.

Gabriel didn't HELP with Metatron's behavior, let's say that. If this were high school, Gabriel would have been the star football player to Metatron's dweeby loser. Gabriel is already so much cooler and more awesome than Metatron just by being an Archangel. Metatron wanted to be his friend when he was chosen for awesome things by God too...but instead of being all "hey, you're cool now, let's be cool together!" Gabriel is being "who said you were allowed to be cool? Only I get to be cool!" Metatron isn't happy about that. Just because he's not an Archangel doesn't mean he can't do awesome things too!
