[Sakuya struggles to appear as normal as possible in front of Meiling and attempts to suppress her cough as much as possible.]

[Trying to hold back entirely was too much even for Sakuya and the woman let out a long series of pained coughs while gripping her stomach as pain shot through her gut with each cough.]

[lazygatekeeper]

Whoa, hey!

[She places her hands on Sakuya's shoulders, trying to steady her as she coughs. She then notices the blood.]

S-Sakuya...?

[the_devils_maid]

As I was saying.

[She pulls out a handkerchief to wipe her hand and to cough into.]

There is nothing for you to be concerned about.

[lazygatekeeper]

What are you talking about? You're bleeding!

[the_devils_maid]

[Sakuya regains her composure, but if a certain someone knows her well enough and has watched her closely enough over time, it may be apparent her posture is not as perfect as normal and she may be fighting against the pain in her gut.]

There is absolutely nothing for you to be concerned about. This is nothing of importance.

[lazygatekeeper]

[Again, she's able to notice.]

Of course it's something important! You're hurt, aren't you?

I will recover.

[lazygatekeeper]

But you need to rest if you want to recover.

[the_devils_maid]

There is too much to be done. As inadequate as I have become, taking an unnecessary rest will only frustrate me.

I must keep busy regardless of my condition.

[lazygatekeeper]

You go rest. Just tell me what to do, and I'll do it for you!

[the_devils_maid]

[Her stomach feels as though a knife had been thrust into it and stars flash in her eyes. She begins to topple over.]

[lazygatekeeper]

[Meiling quickly grabs Sakuya before she falls, and scoops her up into her arms. She's pretty worried, but she's trying to hide it well.]

C'mon, you called me dependable the other day, right? Well. You rest for the day, and I'll take care of everything!

[the_devils_maid]

[Sakuya is taken aback a bit and blushes ever s slightly. Her title as the perfect and most elegant maid was being tarnished with more and more regularity. This was sort of nice, though.]

Flandre is scared.

[Meiling is now carrying her into the house.]
