Of the future

Hi everybody! *said in true Dr Nick fashion* How are you all? God I really hate not having the internet at home - I miss being able to update my journal everday and wangst when I'm pissed off. Ah well - I shall have to get used to doing these random ones.

I'm getting a bit sick of the hot weather. Not to be really British and complain or anything, but it makes everything so much more of a chore! A nice relaxing day off in town a.k.a. today turns into hell because you can't breathe down Fargate and the buses turn into ovens. I feel more stressed now than I did to begin with. Though the sunshine does remind me of why I love living in Sheffield - it is the greenest city in the UK after all, and walking through the gorgeous woods next to the river about 5 minutes away from my house is just amazing at this time of year. For all it's hills, I wouldn't change Sheffield one bit. It is so beautiful in summer - I'm so lucky to live 10 minutes away from the Peak District. I took about 12 photos on my walk with Paul after our picnic last week - I shall upload them with various graduation pictures when I have a chance.

What else do I have to report? Well it's Jess's wedding on Friday (yes it has finally come around) so I am more than a little apprehensive about that, especially as I couldn't get time off work to go to the rehearsal last week and neither could Helen (I have worked 42 hours this week - please god give me my paycheck! I have racked up over 400quid already in two weeks!) SO I have no idea how it is all going down on Friday really, other than we have to get up very early to be at the salon at 7:30. Yippee. I'm sure it'll be a nice day though.

Am doing more research into my next uni degree and have decided on two definates to apply to - Leeds and Liverpool. Bradford is supposedly like the best place in the country to do it but I'm not so fussed about going there. I'm also looking into courses at Sheffield College to do this coming year - I can do AS Human Biology which I would enjoy, and it is part-time on a Wednesday evening so that would fit in nicely if I am still at Tescos, and it only costs £190. Have applied for a full-time job that starts in September, though I am yet to hear anything about that. I'm not overly fussed if I don't to be honest, I am actually happy at Tescos, and as I have experienced this week, there seems to be plenty of opportunity for overtime!

Paul and I are looking at holidays in Christmas time when hopefully the pair of us will have more money. My family is a nightmare at Christmas so it would be very nice to go away with him instead!

Don't have much else to report - it is too hot in this study so I am going to go and move somewhere else! See you all soon hopefully ^^
