Yes, I knew I was straining credibility a bit, but it was one of those ideas that hooks into your brain at 3 am and will not. let. go. And by "your brain," I mean "my brain." Glad you enjoyed it!

If I had a dollar for everything I'd written because of just that scenario, I would be a seriously wealthy badger. But I have to agree with all the other commenters: If it did happen, this is exactly how it would go down. Your Brennan voice is excellent.

I really enjoyed this. Especially her “Oh my god. You’ve got no one else to tell.”, because that's what made it believable.
