reconnecting with old friends is wonderful, even when they've spent the better part of a year hating your guts. that deep, meaningful sort of bond with legitimately special people is the kind of thing I'm often so eager to forget when obstacles arise...even going so far as to let inferior quick-fix "friends" supplant important relationships. connecting on an emotional level is always valid, no matter what kind of spatial-temporal bullshit gets in the way.
