Lilah Morgan was not a woman you would want in possession of your secrets. To Lilah secrets were a commodity: other peoples were an asset, your own were a liability. She learned that early on, she learned to acquire and trade and barter them, she learned to seek confidences that could later be exploited. She kept peoples secrets and collected interest on them, saving them for the moment in which they could be most profitable. And she feared her own because she knew the danger in them.
Bethany Chaulk.
There was a girl with secrets - and her deepest, darkest one had a way of getting other people hurt. It rested inside Bethany wanting to come out but unable to be spoken and so, somehow, it got declared as objects were smashed against walls and people were thrown through the air, as windows shattered and walls ripped themselves apart. Telekinesis, it was called. The secret just couldn't be contained and so it came out in the form of demolition and destruction.
It was just the sort of secret Lilah liked best.
