Time Lords reunite for charity

Doctor Who fans need to bookmark Friday, November 16. Yes, it's Children in Need night on the BBC, and the festivities for the charity extravaganza will include one of the most eagerly anticipated meetings in the series' history.

Former Doctor Peter Davison is set to come face to face with current incumbent David Tennant.

Naturally, bosses at the channel are keeping mum over the exact nature of the storyline which brings the two men together, but a source said: "The Doctor is forever travelling though time so there's no reason why he couldn't catch up with a former incarnation."

Davison, one of the series' most popular Doctors, revealed how the revamped version of the sci-fi classic had gone down a storm with his own brood.

However, their love of the show had come at a price.

He said: "My kids said I was their favourite Doctor until David Tennant came along. Now they've completely swapped their allegiance from their dad to this Scottish fellow!"
