Finally (mostly) caught up
So, I'm back. I've (mostly) caught up with my flist. After doing so, I decided that my flist was out of control and slashed (ha!) well over 25 communities from it. (No people were dropped. I have so few actual people friends that I couldn't cut 25 without going into negatives. *g*) I was stupid and should have done this ages ago but, there you go. Anyways, most of the coms I cut were dead already so it won't change all that much.
So, what have I been doing since January 1st. Not much, really. I caught an awful bug on the Saturday right before going back to work. I won't go into graphic details but it wasn't pleasant. I was out for the next few days. Had to say home sick on Monday (not the fun kind of sick day) and worked from home on Tuesday (felt mostly okay by then but wanted unrestricted access to a bathroom, just in case). I only went back to solid food around Thursday (before then, it was a gradual progression of denser and denser soups).
By the way carolinecrane, I got your Christmas card when I arrived home from my parent's place, feeling awful and it cheered me up a lot. Will and Warren are just so cute!
That plan about eating healthy and exercising starting with the new year. Yeah, that's been postponed until some indeterminate time in the future. I'll try to make it soon. I've actually signed up for something that might help. I'll discuss it if it actually does.
I've signed up for 2 evening classes again this session. I don't know why though since I ended up not going to most the the ones last session (still passed with B+'s but still). One, I could do a better job of teaching than the actual instructor but I might learn something in the other (if that something will be useful, that's another question).
