Ok, I promised a riddle and review today so here goes.

First the riddle:

You may not know it,
Your ship may show it,
It might give you a lift.
Crown was busted,
Low fat diet,
Flew over flame so swift.

As usual, go to Cloud Kingdom's Riddle Page to make official guesses and rate the riddle.

Now for the review. Last night we saw "Triple Espresso ...a highly cafinated comedy" at the IRT. You can visit the site for a synopsis of the show but, as for me, the best part of the evening was the reception beforehand. Free food and an open bar definately increased my enjoyment of the show (note: that was a one-time thing, other performances don't have a pre-show reception). Also, this is a touring show and not actually produced by the IRT. While I do admit the show was pretty cute and funny, it was more akin to what I'd expect to see at the IRT. Their past summer touring shows have been much more enjoyable and a bit more polished, as it were. I really felt like I was at college watching a touring group perform their little skit show for the student body. I must say that I was very impressed by the audience. There was quite a bit of audience participation involved and everyone chosen played along quite gamely (perhaps that was the free booze still pumping it's way through their systems but since several of the past summer shows have done the same, probably not). It was a cute show that was fun for a laugh but it certainly wasn't worth the ticket prices they are charging. You could see two much better local performances for the same money and I'd highly advise anyone considering it to do so. But still, it was a cute show and I did laugh quite a bit. But still, it just isn't a good value overall.

Tonight we had planned to go to ToTS to see there new show but were advised against seeing it just yet and are going to see it Sunday evening. Indy Men's Magazine is throwing a special party tonight that we're going to attend and afterwards we are considering going to Ted's Montana Grill and finally using our $40.00 gift card. For those of you newer readers, here's the link to how we ended up with it. Basically, it seems that if you have the worst service and dining experience ever, and then write it up in detail on your blog and then contact the home office of the restaurant including a link to your blog write-up, you get a phone call from one of the head executives and a gift card to entice you to come back. Suffice it to say, that whenever we do end up using the card, I will be blogging the whole experience here for all to know.

Well, I guess that's about it for today.

TTFN!
