I am so sleepy right now. I've had two cups of Ginseng tea and I'm still tired. Of course, I'm also very hungry but I'm about to have lunch so that should help that a bit. As you can probably tell, this was a pretty busy weekend.
I went to bed very late Friday night and then didn't get up early like usual (which was kind of nice). Cuddling, etc. ensued and then we did some work on the apartment. We got the new bookcase put together and it was so easy to put together and nice looking that we used our coupon and got us another one and put it up too. I emptied about a half a dozen boxes and we've got the rest set out for unpacking as we can (MUCH unpacking coming up). Things are looking pretty good on that front. We watched some of the stuff from the DVR including the movie, "Saw". It wasn't half bad but it was a bit predictable overall. Apparently they didn't have enough money to pay Cary Elwes to stay in just one accent. Still, not bad overall.
Sunday we got up and made popovers and got a few things sorted/put away and then rushed off to church (we were trying to get something off the DVR but it was longer than we thought so we'll have to watch the end another time). Church went well and we ended up going out to lunch again afterwards because
anjala was hosting. We had a good time and they weren't quite as bad to us as before so it was nice. Afterwards we ran over to Deals and got some stuff we've been needing and then drove up to Clay Terrace (also known as a certain female body part that men can't find easily) to shop at Wild Oats as they gave up a $10.00 off coupon and I hate turning down free stuff. Afterwards, we went over to The Fresh Market (we did well there) and then to Handel's for some yummy ice cream. Not only was the ice cream hard to eat because of it being cold outside, they are located right in front of a Cardinal Fitness location and you almost feel guilty about eating ice cream in front of the people in there (there was a real sick bastard involved in that layout plan).
After all of that, we drove downtown to see "Intimate Apparel" at the
IRT. The show was fantastic. We usually sit in the balcony when we see their shows but we managed to get comfortable down front seats so that I could get a better view of the costumes (the show is about clothing on the whole). Except for the main character's dress in the second act (she's a very gifted seamstress, she would never make anything that ill-fitting) the costumes were amazing. Also, the girl who played the part of the prostitute had the most beautiful ass I've ever seen. It was truly amazing (Yum!). After the show, we rushed home and to bed (very late, hence the tired). Now I'm here at work trying to get things going OK. My account expired and they are working to get it back together so that I can continue to work (at least until they make me stop).
Not much else to say except, here's this week's riddle:
A mighty beast will take to wing
Ravaging across the earth.
Often born by act of man,
Only you can foil its birth.
Slays the weak, devours the dead;
All the beasts before it fly.
Its victims all in mourning clad
Mutely point up to the sky.
As usual, go to
Cloud Kingdom's Riddle Page for clues and to make an official guess. Also, even though I didn't need them (rarely do), this week's clues absolutely suck. The best one I can give you is that line 4 is your keystone.
TTFN!
