Baby it's Cold Outside ...
Another quick update. Not too much happening in my life right now. We had planned to see a concert last night but I was tired so we skipped out. No theater tonight (Yea!) and beldar is actually off tomorrow night!!!!!
The weekend is once again, very busy. Friday night we are going to the 1 year anniversary party at The Music Mill. I'm hoping to make an appearance, chow down and then duck out quickly so we can go to The Tonic Ball. I'd much rather go to it anyway. Saturday we have to endure "The Sound of Music" at Footlight. I really love this show and hate to see it ruined but they can go either way with a show. We'll see. Sunday is super busy though. Since defixione wants to go to our church, we're going to go that morning. We're having to skip our final Starbase Indy meeting so we can see a special press screening of "The Polar Express" at the IMAX. Then that evening, we are seeing "Old Wicked Songs" at the IRT.
It seems that winter has decided to come early here and get itself thouroughly settled in. While I am not adverse to this situation, I do have a HUGE problem. I cannot for the life of me find my coat. It's not in the coat closet or any of the other closets. I have searched everywhere I can find and still haven't turned it up. beldar & I are going to spend some time checking out Goodwill and a few other discount stores looking for a new coat. My old one was pretty ragged looking but I still would have preferred doing this on my own terms.
It seems my LJ friend rollick is now in Japan for the week. Her SO, cassielsander is still over here missing her. I understand what he's going through. When I was stuck in the hospital for over a month after my abscess, I missed beldar something awful. I'm glad their separation is only for a week. My thoughts are with them both. One good thing is that she is posting some so we can all still fell somewhat close to her.
