Make It Stop ...
Okay, I didn't look at the calendar and since Hanukkah begins less than a week after Thanksgiving, I forgive the giant Dreidel. It's an acceptable time prior to the event to decorate. It's just the strangeness of seeing this sort of thing (I rarely, if ever, have seen Hanukkah decorations out at all) that threw me off.
However, on the ride home last night from church (I'm helping out with a big mailing project), I noticed inflatable Santas and other Christmas decorations up and those are totally out of bounds. No Christmas decorations till after Thanksgiving! End of story. It's just excessive & Griswaldishly tacky.

I would also like to note that in less than a week, Disney will once again be raping one of my favorite childhood stories for their evil enjoyment (I refuse to in any way validate it by linking to it). Damn that fucking mouse to Chucky Cheese Hell!
Speaking of hideous abuses, I just heard "Seasons of Love" used in a Macy's commercial. Talk about raping an ideal and a legacy! I think I'm really going to need to start drinking pretty heavily very soon. This shit just can't keep happening.
