(no subject)
First of all, let me nay that you will likely not be hearing too much from me until next week as tomorrow starts set-up and Friday actually begins InCon. I'll be swamped beyond belief with the art show and will likely not be able to get on the internet at all until Monday or Tuesday. I will do my best to try to work out some way to wish those of you with birthday's the best but know that I may be a bit late.
In other news, I got my new glasses today. They're okay but since they're so heavy they are constantly slipping. I need to find something to stop that soon. It is nice to see clearly again. Still, it's like finally seeing things in HD.
As for yesterday's job interview. It was interesting. I think I did well but they are interviewing over 50 people for at the most 2 positions (It's like the phone company except they already have the positions filled prior to the interview process beginning). Plus there's the fact that the job totally sucks. It's a medical bill collection position and to make it even worse, they treat it like a factory. There are daily quotas and severe penalties for not meeting them. Basically, I would likely kill myself within 3-6 months if I actually had to do this job. Not to mention that I would not be willing to needlessly threaten people as I have been in the past. I do know exactly what they do there because they have come after me before to try to get me to pay money I don't have for my broken heart problem two years ago.
Oh well, there's always other jobs out there. Hopefully something will come around soon.
