Coup - Coup - Ka - Choo ...

First of all, Happy Birthday to Neil Patrick Harris who has made the world a lot more fabulous and sparkly.

Now to catch you up in the news of my life. Not only would the fucktards not give me back my info or delete me from their system (I'm working on finding exactly which authorities I need to take with me in order to retrieve this info and proceed with an investigation) but they actually called me yesterday trying to get me to spend money for job-hunting advice from them. That just cements my feelings that they are crooks and need to be shut down. Oh, and for those of you who wish to know, the company's name is Express Employment "Professionals" (quotes added for the full impact of the irony).

Saturday the extreme heat and humidity managed to really screw over our full enjoyment of the IMAF & Talbot Street Art Fair. But we did our best to enjoy it as much as we could. That evening we went to Beef & Boards to see the stage production of "High School Musical". Our expectations we low as we had suffered through the horror that was "Twilight" last week but we kept bracing ourselves that it had to be better in comparison. Surprisingly, I absolutely adore the show. It was really very cute and funny and I really want to see the original movie now. I summed it up as a cross between "Grease" & "Glee". So, if you've got a tween or just want a fun little distraction, this is a really great show for the whole family and a good introduction to live theater for younger children.

In what could be extremely interesting news tomorrow, apparently tonight's neighborhood council meeting is bracing for a bloody coup and I feel that I may have to be a witness to it all. I first heard about this at last night's Irvington Halloween Festival meeting. I'm not really certain of what has lead to the formation of the group behind this attack (Irvington First). Still, it's gonna be fun to watch this sort of hot mess and nice to in no way be a part of it or the machinations behind it.

So, that's what's been going on in my life. I hope that yours is doing well. I will talk to you again soon.

TTFN!
