(no subject)
So, once again I am slow to update. I just totally fail at life all-around. As for work, I had my makeup training session yesterday and it was amazingly par for the course. My hip is still sore and swollen from my car wreck last September so I can't sit in a chair with arms. Of course, that is all they had in the office so I had to stand or lean against a small filing cabinet down the hall from the meeting area the whole 4 hours of the meeting. Yeah, pretty typical of my treatment by the company overall. On one good note, I did find out that even though we were told that there were no Franchise offices in the state, there are some and one not too far away so I may try to get on there next year.
In other life news, things are going okay. I'm hoping to step up my job search next week so that I have some work once my unemployment runs out (which is coming up very soon).
I have been following the Olympics lately. They have been quite good overall (despite the crapfest from our Curling teams).
I have also been ranting elsewhere over the whole Killer whale thing. They have that name for a reason. You'd think someone would take that into consideration. They're not called cuddly whales. They are wild animals and as such are prone to instinctually violent acts. Of course, there are murmurs that the actual cause of death was a bullet and something about a penguin with a sniper rifle on the fishy knoll but we'd have to review the video footage to be sure.
