Well, we had to give the rental car back this afternoon. That means we're a one-car family for a while. What sucks even more is that as of today,
beldar is working nights (around 3-12) so I'm stuck at home each evening with no transportation. I've already had to cancel numerous plans just because I don't have transportation.
As for me, I'm still bruised and sore. My prescription muscle relaxers ran out on Saturday and I started taking Arnica Montana yesterday and I think it's really working. I have a little bit bigger range of motion but I'm still having the sharp, stabbing and slicing pains. Still, I am getting by.
One nice thing is we now have an idea of how much the settlement will be and how much we will have for the down payment so we can go around this week and see which car dealer can make us the best deal.
In other news, I've been watching some of the new season's shows on the DVR. We haven't had time to watch much so there's lots taped not mentioned. Here's what I think: "Flashforward" - totally pwoned; "Eastwick" - show seems to suck just as much as the movie did but the Devil is hot so I may check it out; "Accidentally On Purpose" - cute but not great, I may drop it if I'm pressed for space; "Community" - Joel is funny but it's not that great a show, again it will likely get dropped.
As for returning shows: "Fringe" - still incredibly wonderful; "CSI" - WTF is up with the season long story arcs? otherwise, still pretty good; ""Big Bang" - not sure if I like everything that happened last week, hoping it doesn't screw up the chemistry and comedy; "House" - excited to see where they take things this year; "Survivor" - that asshole guy who doesn't need the money really has got to go, you can't even enjoy hating him.
So, that's it for now. I hope you are all doing well. I will talk to you again soon.
TTFN!
