Money Makes The World Go Around ...
Well, had my first class today. It went very well. Boy! things sure have changed a lot since I took it last. There's a lot more emphasis on the interviewing and client interaction. Plus, we start up on the computer much earlier now. It's obvious that I really don't need the class overall but still, it'll be fun to take again and I'll probably end up tutoring most of the class like the last time I took it.
Afterwards, I went over to Papa Roux for lunch and to pick up our new t-shirt (good for a 15% discount each time we wear it throughout the year). I had a lovely meal and got to spend some time playing a game with Papa's little one. We had a lot of fun and I promised to go back next week & play with him again. It's a good thing I've got lots of kid-friendly games and love to play them. We started playing in the first place because he was bored & wanting attention and his dad was working so couldn't be with him. I ran out to the car, brought in a game and had a great time.
So, that's been my day so far. Not too much else going on. We've been catching up with the stuff on our DVR in preparation for the new TV season. I must say that I am really enjoying the new show, "GLee". beldar describes it as "Revenge of the Nerds: The Musical". It is a hoot and I can't wait to see what happens throughout the season. We're also all caught up on "Eureka" & "The Mighty Boosh".
Hopefully, things are going well with all of you. I am doing my best to read my friends page much more regularly so hopefully, I won't have to ask.
