Well, last night's celebratory dinner was very nice. The food was good and we had a great time. My burger was really pretty good. I had the Shewman Special which has peanut butter and jalapenos on it. It made a Thai like flavor that was really wonderful.
We also watched the opening ceremonies of the All-Star game. That was really fun as well. Especially since friendstephen had never seen one before.
Today however has been full of fail. I didn't sleep very well last night and therefore, got up late but still made it to Car-X at a decent hour to get out brakes fixed. We had a coupon which made the cost $40.00 per axle and it turns out we only needed our front axle to be repaired. However, with labor and cost of rotors the total came to over $350.00. There's no way we can possibly afford that so our brakes will still squeak until we can get a better deal. Also, there's a problem with our stereo speakers. A wire somewhere is loose and our stereo is basically dead until we can get that fixed as well.
Oh car, why do you have to screw me over like this?
So, that's been my day so far. Suck levels rising quickly. Not much chance of relief. I hope you are all doing better than me.
