Wow! I didn't realize that I hadn't updated in almost a week. Sorry for the silence. Now for an update.
Thursday night I went to the "Wicked" lottery with astria and we won. Our tickets were right up front so that I could see the costumes much better. However, we were on the left side so we did miss a few things but since I had seen it before I could let those near me know what they were missing. Still, the show was great and we had a wonderful time.
Friday was spent mostly hanging around the house with beldar. We watched some stuff on the DVR including some of the new shows, "Mental" & "The Listener". I am totally pwoned by both of these.
Saturday was the final concom meeting at the hotel (in the smallest room possible, we thought it was a broom closet). Afterwards, friendstephen came over and we watched "The Devil's Backbone". The movie was really strange but very good. Definitely worth checking out.
Sunday I took beldar out to lunch after church to celebrate Father's Day. We had a great time and a wonderful day.
Last night we went to a press preview of the new Transformers movie. I really didn't like it overall. It had some great moments and effects but it was over and hour too long and the adolescent humor was just excessive. There were numerous humping jokes, ball jokes and some uncomfortable male nudity. It's really a shame because this sort of stuff eliminates too much of the target audience. As it is, I cannot recommend it to the nephew who would love to see it.
This afternoon I am going to Greenfield to see a preview of the new Kid's Play show. I am looking forward to that.
