I hope everyone out there is doing well and had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good. Friday evening we all watched the second episode of "Look Around You"'s second season. They have redeemed themselves. It had all of the snark & charm of the initial season. I look forward to the next episode now. We also caught up with "Flight of the Conchords". That show totally roxors.
Saturday was spent running some errands and then picking up veronica_rich from the airport. Her work took us to dinner as repayment (it was lots cheaper than paying for parking at the airport). She was very tired & wiped out so she went home afterwards and we went to a gaming party at one of the CoJ member's place. It was pretty fun but very crowded. Still, it was nice to get out a bit and just play games & have fun.
On Sunday we went to church and then picked up friendstephen and took him to The Journey for lunch. He loved it. While the selection that day wasn't as good as usual, it was still very good. Their clams with black bean sauce was the best I've ever had. We all have to go back sometime for dinner when their selections are even more extensive.
Today has been rather blah. Still no word on the job front. My left eye was hugely swollen when I woke up and although the swelling has gone down, it's still bothering me. I think I broke it last night cause I was crying so much.
