(no subject)
Well, it's been snowing like crazy since yesterday. It's so bad that beldar actually stayed home from work today. He never stays home no matter how bad the weather or how sick he is. Still, he's been working methodically at digging out the car so that he could get out later.
We're pretty sure that tonight's programming meeting isn't going to happen. However, it was just going to be me, beldar, friendstephen & Mike anyway so not much is really lost. Besides, friendstephen will still likely come over as he has appointments downtown tomorrow and since they're early in the morning he's planning on staying over so we can make sure he gets up and out on time. Since we're right on a good bus route, it's probably best if he does make it over anyway.
Of course, the weather has kept me from getting out and poking employment agencies with sticks in person but at least I don't have to worry about trying to get to work in this mess.
I did have a good dream this morning about me starting a new job. I really wouldn't mind it if I did. The job was really great and paid wonderfully. Plus I was really great at it so let's hope my dreams come true.
I hope everyone out there is safe and warm. I know that the folks at home in Arkansas and the area are dealing with ice storms right now. Plus, many of my other friends are snowed under and losing power and such. Love to you all. I will talk to you again later on.
