Thanks for all of your warm wishes and utter disgust with my former employer. I really appreciate knowing that there is sanity out in the world somewhere.
As for me, I'm doing okay. I've gotten over the initial shock and annoyance. Now I'm to acceptance. I'm actually in much better shape now.
I'm healthier, I have a better skill set and I have some great professional references. Besides, I needed some time off so I'm glad of it overall.
Being an accountant is really good. The positions are out there, I have an amazing skill set and this is the best time of the year to get hired. Plus, I've got my unemployment and about a half dozen job agencies working for me so it's just a matter of time before I am employed once more.
Beyond that situation, I'm great. Now I have time to do some stuff around the house and get caught up on reading and DVR stuff. Plus I can stay more caught up on my f-list.
I hope everyone out there is doing well. I love you all and thank you for all of your support and love. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night and the new year.
