(no subject)
I had a great weekend. On Saturday we woke up early and got a bunch of stuff done and our errands run. For lunch we stopped at Foon Ying's because it was close and anjala is always going on and on about how good there food is. Well, there food is decent but their egg rolls are amazing! They are hug and mostly meat and so delicately spiced that they are worth dreaming about. We're pretty sure that there will be more than one egg roll run during Incon since it's not that far away from the new hotel.
After we got home, veronica_rich, __kat__ and then friendstephen came over (there arrivals were spaced out somewhat but they all came over pretty close to one another). We watched "Doctor Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog", baked cookies, watched the Sing-a-long version of "Mama Mia", watched "Commentary, the Musical", decorated cookies, had dinner (pesto pasta), and talked late into the night. It was fantastic.
This was the Birthday celebration I wished for originally. Good food, good friends, music, fun and happiness. I just wish that some other of my friends had been there but a lot of them were busy with Yule celebrations and that's okay.
I'm thinking that I want to throw a greek party in either January or February. I'll make a bunch of greek food and we'll all watch "Mama Mia" again and just have a good time together.
Sunday was spent sleeping in, washing clothes and taking it easy. I was still so wrapped up in the afterglow of the happiness of Saturday that I was walking around on a cloud.
