(no subject)
I really did intend to post again over the weekend but I was just too busy to do it. Here's how my holidays went.
Thanksgiving went well. It was just myself, beldar & friendstephen. Sadly, veronica_rich had to go to St Louis on Thursday to spend time with her ailing mother so we missed having her at our gathering. Still, we had a nice meal (my turkey was too dry but everything else was ok) and good fellowship.
Friday I had to work but that evening the three of us from above got together and saw "Evil Dead: The Musical". It was a lot of fun and we got sprayed with blood this time around (not too much but still a decent amount).
Saturday morning was spent doing laundry (blood comes out of your clothes well but takes a while to come off of your skin). then we ran a few errands and dropped by FreeKon to run some games. We had a good time there and would have liked to stay longer but we had shows to see that evening. beldar & friendstephen went to see the Beef & Boards Christmas show while I took anjala to see Sam Harris with me. We all had a great time at our respective shows and met up later for eggnog shakes and a bit of conversation before going home.
Sunday we got to church early because beldar was scheduled for hospitality but way too many people showed up so we left after the first service and ran some errands and then went home. I was so tired I took a short nap and we did some cleaning and tv watching the rest of the day.
The holiday weekend went very well and I hope everyone else's was as good. I will post again later if possible.
