(no subject)
Well, we didn't have nearly enough trick-or-treators Friday night but we did have a good time. friendstephen came over and helped us with the fun. After the kids were finally done, we all piled in the car and drove over to Greenfield to check out a home-baked haunted house based on "13 Ghosts" (the new version with the dark zodiac). It was great and they made a better effort with it than many professional ones.
Saturday morning we went to the preview of "Madagascar 2" and the movie rep didn't show up so they weren't going to let us in. Finally they relented and allowed us to see the film. It was great. It gives both a backstory and continuation to much of the plot lines in the first film. The humor was delightful and the penguins almost stole the show (again).
One thing, there was a preview for the movie "Monsters vs Aliens" which looks wonderful. I can't wait to see it and I'm sure all of you out there will want to see it as well.
After the movie we ran a few errands and picked up anjala to take her to the CoJ meeting.
The meeting was really great even though it (and the concom) dragged on eternally because it would seem that popular opinion once again does not hold weight over certain member's opinions (however, the people ruining it for the whole log were totally different this time).
Still, we had a nice pitch-in and party and had a great time playing games.
Sunday I wasn't feeling great so we skipped the play and stayed home cleaning up and clearing off the DVR until it was time to go to St Elmo's for dinner with veronica_rich & friends. The meal was great and I loved getting to know her friends. We had a ball.
Today's going well so far. Due to tomorrow's election and having a real doctor's appointment Wednesday morning (and not just a blood test), my work schedule is thrown way off this week.
Still, things are going well so far. I will talk to you again latter if possible.
