Once again our fair state has caused a news story to make me need to speak out about the state of our world. Here it is: an Indiana family wants a toy recalled after their 8-year old daughter swallowed over 30 pieces of it.
Excuse me but what sort of lousy parenting is this? An 8-year old child should first of all know not to swallow her toys. Plus, she swallowed over 30 pieces. Where were her parents during all of this and why did someone not notice or stop her before she ate all her toys pieces?
This is not an unsafe toy, these are very bad parents. If they had properly raised their child, she would not swallowed the toy or would have been playing with it under their supervision.
I really hate this sort of crap. Especially since the Nephew was given a set of these toys for Christmas and loved them. If they are recalled, he will not be able to play with them or get more sets. Incidentally, he was younger than this girl and he knew better than to try to eat them.
Once again, I reiterate: Our world went to Hell when we stopped spanking our children.
Now, to end on a lighter note: I give you a very short video of a horse race with one of the funniest horse names in history.

Also, last night we went by the landlord's house to drop off the rent check and found out that their sweet little Schnauzer is expecting. She was impregnated by a Puggle which means she's going to have Schnuggles. Now who wouldn't want a Schnuggle?
