So, my keys are still missing. I guess we'll spend some time this weekend replacing them. I really wouldn't mind too much but the key to the church was on the keychain and while I doubt whoever has them would figure out what it's for, I just don't like feeling that I've let my church's trust in me down by losing the key.

As for the job hunt, it's still ongoing. I sent out a bunch of resumes and applications but haven't heard anything back yet. I do have an appointment on Tuesday with the unemployment office to help me get a job so that should help some.

I did get a call yesterday from unemployment and they are finally sorting through my claim and going to make a ruling. This is nice since this week I am eligible for benefits and really need that check. It really sucks that anytime you have something somewhat nice happen (I was given a severance package) it always screws things up.

I'm sure you've all guessed that since I lost my job and money's tight (especially with the price of gas being what it is) we're not going to Ohio over the weekend to visit our friends. Still, there's lots to do at home and it gives us more time to spend with our friends.

As for what I've been doing lately, I finally finished reading "The 13 & 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear" and it was wonderful. I can't wait for the nephew to read these books. I'm considering getting him "The City of Dreaming Books" for Christmas. I really think he'll like it a lot (of course, his parents will have to read it to him for now but I also think they will enjoy it as well).

Speaking of Christmas, I have had a horrible time thinking of what to put on my list each year when the time rolls around so I think I'm going to pre-date an entry and put my gift needs on it now and update it as needed. That way it'll be easier for the family and if they find something on the list on sale prior to the holidays (most of what I need isn't just on sale then), they can get it.

Well, I guess this is all I've got for now. I will talk to you again later.

TTFN!
