I am very happy to announce that I have finished tagging all of my journal entries. You may now review the inventory much more easily. I'm really happy that this makes the fun job of inspecting past bleeds so much easier.
BTW, since I was reminded that there are many new readers I do need to explain the bleeds. My favorite radio station is a High School station based in a southeastern suburb of Indy. They play a lot of 80's music and the kids are really funny to listen to (they brought a toaster into the school and everyone had a wonderful toast party at lunch for a while). Since they are a high school station, they only have limited range. When you go to the northern part of town, another station competes for the signal. The other station is hard core Christian. When traveling through parts of the city you will have both stations competing for the signal and the resulting mish-mash of music and quotes makes for some funny little bleeds. In fact, I got a great one today. This is weather forecast vs. sermon.
"And in Hell you will find it is ..." "... sunny and clear with a high of 60"
Now, on to my regular update. Last night I finally watched the Brit Awards. They were okay. I did a lot of fast forwarding through most of it but I was mainly there for a certain Doctor's appearance. There were some really strange outfits overall. I'm not sure what Arctic Monkeys were doing with the duck decoy and their costumes. Still, it was great when they came back later all pissed and you could hear Sharon's sniping over the mikes.
I also watched the greatest history class ever. It was called "
Assume the Position with Robert Wuhl" and it was fantastic. If he had been my history teacher I would have actually learned something. Of course, if I hadn't had to relearn the revolution every damned year of my life, then maybe I would have learned something as well. I did have a wonderful teacher my senior year when I had to repeat a semester of history and I actually learned something from him (although we only had time to cover reconstruction and the Indian massacres). I wish I had been given these sorts of opportunities more in school. However, Hillary was controlling our schools then and she was too busy screwing them up royally.
I also made a wonderful pizza for dinner. I had some thick sliced mushrooms that were on sale so I used the last of our red pepper vinaigrette as a base then sprinkled on some chopped chicken and covered the whole thing with the mushrooms. I grated a block of Dubliner cheese that we had bought on top and it was very tasty. I forget how much I love making my own pizza. I really need to do it more often.
SO that's it for now. I think
beldar's finished his special section so he should be home on time tonight and he may not have to work tomorrow night. We don't have any theater this weekend but we need to clean the house a bit for Sunday's gaming session. I'm really looking forward to it.
I will post some memes later.
TTFN!
