First of all, I'd like to say a very Happy Birthday to lemurjoe. I hope you're day is full of warm sunbaths and happy times.
I'd also like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day. We're having a bit of a party here at work (mostly just lots of candy and snacks). I brought in the dancing penguin that crysthewolf gave me to keep everyone in the mood.
Well, last night's church meeting was interesting. We met a lot of new people and had a really good dialog. I think it really did help out Pastor Pooky with getting to know what's going on. What was really interesting is pretty much every single one of us said that we stayed in the church and liked it because of his sermons. He really is a great speaker and I do like to hear what he has to say. It's good to hear that others feel that way.
Speaking of sermons, this coming weekend is the final sermon based on Joel Osteen's crap. So after that, things will be getting back to normal so I can invite people to attend. Of course, if you aren't in the area and ever want to check us out, you can always hit the church's website. We are finally able to webcast our sermons there so feel free to check things out if you'd like.
So, looking at the calendar it appears that we don't have any plans for the upcoming weekend. Of course there is a small concert at Sleepy Hollow Saturday night that we're planning on attending but other than that, our slate is clean. That means we can spend time at home clearing off the DVR and cleaning up around the house a bit. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to just hanging out like that.
