Well, I'm back online for a bit. I was feeling sore and icky yesterday so I didn't get out of the house to come to the library to post. Today I am feeling much better so I am out and about. I hope everyone had a great Holiday break there(even if you don't celebrate it). We had a wonderful time making memories for the Niece and Nephew. We spent several hours on the trip back discussing what sort of awesome things were in store for each when they come up here for visits in the future. I mentioned that maybe we could convince beldar's mom to bring up the Nephew for a visit on her own during the summer. Her schedule's a bit more flexible and it would also give his parents a little time on there own which is also a treat. Maybe that can be arranged by 2009 at the latest.
Oh yeah, I'd like to welcome my newest reader, tigjah to the group. I'm glad you're here and hope you enjoy yourself. I'd also like to wish a very Happy Birthday to everyone who I missed over the break
I'm going to save a more detailed wrap-up of our trip until next week when I can post at work without the time constraints that I have here. I would like to mention a few highlights now.
Both on the way down and on the way back we stopped at Lambert's Cafe for our meal. Both times we were seated in the same booth. The booth number was 42. This is the answer as well as our ages so this was really amusing. Also, we watched a show on the Travel channel on Christmas day about the top 10 places to pig out and Lambert's was Number 1. That was also kewl.
So, not really much else to say for now. The likelihood of posts prior to the 2nd is small but if I am able to post on Monday, I will. Otherwise, I will talk to you all when I get back to work on Wednesday.
