OK, time for the Holiday update. Thanksgiving was spent with veronica_rich at her lovely apartment. We got to meet her kitty Sylvester who was very soft but rather irritable. Still, much happiness and pettins occurred. Dinner was wonderful and afterwards we watched "Kingdom of God".

Friday morning I got out around 7 and went to the couple of stores I needed to and got all of my shopping done by 8am. I didn't quite get everything I had planned on but I did get a lot of great stuff.

Friday afternoon, beldar managed to totally get off work by 1 PM so that we could meet up with our LJ friends evansmj & brocha at The Journey for lunch. What a great time we had. The two of them were absolutely wonderful and even though the lunch spread was woefully small compared to the dinner one, it was still impressive. We ate & then talked until they finally kicked us out to make way for the dinner seating. I can't wait to spend time with them again.

After that we ran an errand and then picked up astria and hung out with him for the rest of the evening.

On Saturday we managed to finally get a look inside the cute blue house that I really like. It is wonderful. It's got tons of room and so much storage space. The owners are extremely motivated so that it looks like if we can swing a decent loan, we would have no problems whatsoever getting it. It has an amazing kitchen and dining area as well as plenty of space for our stuff.

I spent Sunday at home while beldar had to work hospitality again at church. While he was gone, I saw the movie "To Sir, With Love" for the umpteenth time. I did make an interesting discovery though. I never realized that Patricia Routledge (Hyacinth on "Keeping up Appearances") was in it.

Anyway, we finally got all of the Halloween & Fall decorations packed up and put away and now just need to get out the Christmas ones. That will be what we do this week. We still need to get a small extension cord to connect our walk lights and some net lights for the bushes near the porch. Hopefully we can get it all fixed up by the weekend so that we can start displaying our lights. We plugged them in on Friday night to test them and they look great.

We also watched most everything that had been stuck on the DVR. We're caught up on everything except "Californication". We would have gotten that taken care of but we spent more time out and with friends that we had originally planned so it has once again, been pushed to the back burner.

Anyway, that's my update. Since it's likely I won't get to catch up on everyone out there's journals, if anyone would like to quickly update me on your Holiday, I'd really appreciate it. I hope it was great with a minimum of or no drama.

TTFN!
