First of all, I'd like to wish a warm welcome to my newest friend the_dark_side. I'm glad to have you aboard and hope you enjoy the ride.
So, not much going on today. Last night was spent gathering together the games we picked up at GenCon and reviewing them for the Gift Guide. Luckily, we had played all but two of them and those will be included in the last minute gift guide so that we can get them played before then. We really did get some fun games this past year. Now, I need to find the list of the games that were promised to us so that I can get them sent (one of them was a Penguin game which I really wanted but sold out at the con).
Tonight really has nothing planned. beldar has to work tomorrow night and the next Friday because his boss's wife won a trip to Hawaii. I'm not really complaining as he has had the past few Friday nights off and that's a luxury in the fall so I can handle it.
I don't think we have any plans for the weekend other than grocery shopping. So, this will probably be some very boring reading for the next few days.
Work is crazy right now as we are in the process of moving to a temporary location for the next few months until our new headquarters is finished. We were supposed to stay here but move to a different part of the building but the assholes that make those decisions would rather have our space empty and collect no rent than work out a deal with us. Expect some possible rants about the new space as I have to share an office with the only guy working here and while that's not such a bad thing, he has this horrible habit of trying to sing. I say trying because he is always off key and it drives my brain crazy. I wish someone would explain to him that he can't carry a tune in a rucksack and to stop trying.
