Wow! Last night's Birthday party was amazing. We managed to fill up the trolley with our party of 11. Attending the shindig (beindes myself and Birthday boy beldar) were astria, ntmbrian, __kat__, narishma_reborn, anjala, defixione, ladyofglass, friendstephen, and fellow Birthday celebrant (on Saturday) veronica_rich. We ate heartily of fine pasta, shared in some booty, had an amazing cake (not the ice cream cake we had planned but a wonderful cake just the same) and sang various songs (which really weirded out the fellow diners). Of course the fact that half of us were dressed like pirates went a long way towards freaking them out in the first place.
beldar was heartily impressed and needless to say, it was likely his best Birthday ever.
On the news front, it looks like we likely will not be attending Ohio LinuxFest after all because friendstephen and ladyofglass (who we were planning on carpooling with) are going to see The Alan Parsons Project concert in Chicago instead. Oh well, it's not like we paid for it.
