Sorry I was so abrupt with my post yesterday. I was just very busy at work. I have a lot to do and very, very little time to do it in.
Anyways, when I got home yesterday I had a message from my doctor informing me that the x-rays showed I have osteo-arthritis in my knee. So, this is going to be an ongoing issue. I'll be stocking up on gin and raisins this weekend.
Since tomorrow is the big day, I will once again post the details. We have reserved the trolley car at
The Old Spaghetti Factory. It's located at 210 South Meridian and clicking on the name will take you to a map of its location. Our reservation is for 7:30 under the name of Belden (although we're the only ones in the Trolley car so that will narrow it down as well). Even though we are celebrating
beldar's Birthday, your attendance is all the present required. I really hope to see a lot of you there. We're looking forward to it me hearties.
I also promised yesterday to post a real review of
"Midlife Crisis: The Musical", so here we go. The show is fantastic. The cast is superb. They hit all the right notes, they never miss a beat. It's just amazing. I must admit that I was a bit concerned when I initially looked at the long list of scenes in the program but most of them are so short that you really wish there were more. The humor is dead-on hitting all of the highlights and lowlights of aging. It evan has moments of quotability (DONKEY PUBES! DONKEY PUBES!). One note if you are planning on seeing the show, while the Friday & Saturday night shows are packed, the Sunday matinee has a lighter crowd. Many of you might want to consider going then to better hear the performers as the laughter on the more crowded nights can cause you to miss some of the better lines.
So, I guess that's about it for now. I will post again later if anything comes up.
TTFN!
