Interesting weekend, this was. Right before I left work Friday I got in trouble and just got finished meeting about it. I'm not in desperate trouble but I am sort of on double secret probation. Apparently, I need some serious tact counseling and need to coddle people more than I am. Oh well, it could be worse.
Friday's Whoosier meeting went great. We all had a really good time. I have been requested to make another Dalek cake for the Halloween party so I will try to do a step-by-step photo spread of it and then I can post pictures here and on the club website.
Saturday started out okay but after a few errands were run, my knee was hurting so badly I had to go home and lay down for the rest of the day. I spent pretty much all day Sunday the same way and it is still hurting today. I will be calling the doctor later to see if I can get in and get it checked out by them. I don't think it's muscular. It feels like maybe my cartilage or something has shifted somehow (it has been injured pretty severely in several wrecks) and maybe that is causing the problems.
Since I was stuck at home, I managed to catch up on pretty much all of the shows that had stacked up on the DVR. I can't say I'm thrilled by the outcome of "Who Wants to Be a Superhero?" but I'm not as upset over it as I thought I'd be. I still think Parthenon should have won.
I did keep this weekend's episode of "Graham Norton" so that I could get it to
friendstephen for the Whoosiers. However, I'm not sure what they are going to make of it. They just don't seem to understand what is allowable on BBCAmerica and I'm sure they are going to be shocked beyond belief at it all. However, David was wonderful on it and I really love him even more now.
Well, I really need to get back to work now. I will talk again tomorrow.
TTFN!
