Well, my life is slowly returning to a somewhat normal state. We had a dinner last night for the LCs because they are leaving today and tomorrow to go out on the road. That was really nice. I've really gotten to know this year's batch pretty well and wish them the best in their travels.
Since beldar was still on vacation yesterday, he was able to sort through our haul of games and organize it somewhat. It looks like we ended up with about 15 of them and then I started a list of the ones that will be mailed out to us and that's close to a dozen it's looking like. Wow! We actually were feeling on Thursday that we wouldn't get even 10.
Of course, we will need people to help us playtest these games so volunteers are being sought out. I will include details of what we got later in the week.
I am still pretty wiped out from all of the fun we had (the FUMP show was still pretty damn amazing). Oh yeah, I don't think I mentioned this yesterday but I am now the official Spam Carving Assistant for Redneck Life. While we were waiting for someone to give us a review copy, we were discussing the contest and I suggested that they should erect "Spamhenge" out of cans to promote the event next year and suddenly I became part of the whole thing. Therefore, I'm going to periodically ask everyone for suggestions for promoting it and other ideas so be warned.
