Not much happening today. Nothing really all that special. I've got a doctor's appointment this afternoon (flu & pheumonia shots), but other than that, nothing much else.
Last night we watched "The Wicker Man". It was okay. It was hard to find it in the least bit suspenseful in the same way that "Soylent Green" is unsuspensful. You know exactly what's going to happen the whole time and you just wish they'd get it over with. Still, the scenery was nice and it had a great cast. We watched the "unrated version with shocking ending" and then the ending of the other version. I liked the theatrical version better as it had the nice final scene. Really, the only difference in the two is the unrated version actually shows them breaking his legs and torturing him while in the theatrical version you just hear it. Of course, in the theatrical version, you aren't shown why his face is all swollen up. Anyway, it was an okay movie but overall, an unnecessary remake.
