(no subject)
Since I didn't get to get on the computer this weekend, I missed sending out Birthday wishes to my friends who had birthdays on Saturday. Of course, I only remember one of the names, so I'd like to wish a very Happy Birthday to the two people I can't remember. I thought about the fact that you had a birthday even though I wasn't able to say anything then.
Now, for the update. Thanksgiving went well. We had our nice little feed. Nothing elaborate but tasty and enjoyable. We watched the parade and caught up with most of our DVR backlog (2 epsiodes of "Dexter" and a couple of episodes of "Scrubs" and we're there). Friday we got up way too early and hit some of the sales. Of course, beldar had to go to work, but I managed to get all of that day's shopping done before 9AM. We didn't get everything we wanted but we did get most of what we needed.
I finally found the Holiday Creme Savers that someone told me about last year. They are wonderful. I am so going to have to stock up before they are all gone.
Saturday we did a bit more shopping and let Sammy (the neighbor's dog) take us out for a drag. She's a miniature Schnauzer but she's really full of energy.
Sunday we went to the early church service so we could go see "Happy Feet" at the $4.00 matinee. It was a sweet little movie. I really enjoyed it and felt they did a good job with it. After the movie, we went home and rested a bit before going out that evening to see the Dicken's Carolers at one of the churches near our house. The show was great and we really had a wonderful time.
Tonight we're staying at home and hopefully getting some decorating done for the Holidays before the predicted snow and cold hits later in the week. I may need to take a day off to do some stuff around the house soon while the weather's still nice too.
Anyway, that's about it for me. I'll update again tomorrow.
