Avast, I be sorry fer not updatin yesterday but I was swabbing the decks all day long.
As for the weekend, Friday night's shipwreck was truely bizzare. The script was lame, the songs were insipid (and stolen from pretty much every other show in existance) but the cast was so spectacular that it overcame the material and made it rather enjoyable at times. Of course, the audience adored every sinkin drop. The almost gave the opening of the curtain a standing ovation. Eh, landlubbers.
Saturday, we spent the day cleaning & packing. We got very little done so hopefully, we will get much more tackled this weekend. I did figure out the layout of the new ship so that's at least good. Sunday we sailed down to the IRT to see "The Gentleman from Indiana". With the home game, parking was hellish but the show was wonderful. It's definately worth checking out if you have the chance.
Last night was mostly resting as we both worked late.
beldar did manage to go by the duplex and get us keys and offload most of the boxes we packed up on Saturday so at least something was done. Tonight we have to sail out to see a touring production of "All Shook Up". It's not a great birthday present so I guess I'll have to spend my dubloons for something better later in the week.
